A smattering of nerdery. Curated by Andrew, Miguel, Davis, Ian, and Michael.

Quirky little stop-motion ad featuring robots, by Wes Anderson.

This TMNT cartoon opening-credits stop-motion remake is one of the most awesome things I’ve ever seen.

I have watched the live-action short version of Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie dozens and dozens of times, and I’m pretty excited to see stop-motion adaptation.  As far as I’m concerned, Tim Burton and stop-motion is a win-win.

It’s amazing to me how close the Spielberg version of Tintin is to parts of this 1947 French stop-motion version (sans Tintin-as-a-bottle-of-whiskey-hallucination/mirage).  I recommend seeing/watching both.

This is art.
